These are all question we all ask..Some jobs provide Health coverage for their employee's..BUT what about their partner/spouse?? To add you spouse(and even your children) to the coverage you husband/wife gets from his/her job it cost somewhere between $300-$400 extra (roughly).. A lot of us can not even afford that. Some people who can get medicare/medicaid have to make a certain amount.. and if you go over by even a little bit you do not qualify for it ( or you lose it if you had it before) I can honestly say a lot of women (mostly) can not even go to the doctors on a regular visit more less for something important b/c it cost so much for a doctors visit.. or a visit to a specialist (God forbid if you have to go to the hospital/ER) Also.. not to mention if you need a Rx.
Some families do not have health insurance at all..maybe b/c the husband and/or wife work.. and the place they work for just doesn't offer health coverage for their employees. They can't afford it b/c like I said before the price for good coverage cost SO much.. Then again with the Medicare/Medicaid..If you make even $12 dollars to much you will not qualify.
I think if it could be easier for the middle income families who do not have the insurance (that can't afford it.. or make to much to qualify for medicare/medicaid) so be able to at least be able to get on medicaid/medicare.
It's obvious that people who can't afford the high price for health coverage need the help some how.. What about the middle man??? Ever think about that?? What about those of us who make just enough..but not enough.. Ya know what I mean??
