I can not believe how fast this school year has flown by. I think back on the first day of school..We got up extra early and had a big breakfast. Gracie was hard to wake up early. I woke her up and she got out of bed and went in the living room and laid on the couch and curled up and acted like she was going back to sleep.
Now there is only a few days left. I know Gracie will miss all of her friends and wonder why school just ended. The big thing that gets me is we are moving and once she starts school again in the fall she will not have any of her same friends or anyone at her new school she will know.
Gracie tells me all the time that she misses her friends. I wish she could be at the same school again. I know once she starts her new school and everything she will be ok and make new friends.
It's just hard to get friends and your kids make friends then you move away. It is hard at first but we will still have our friend even if we have to leave them behind..but keeping in touch with your friends is the key!
